The decisive moment came early, with the only goal of the match scored in the 11th minute. Tresor Yamba provided the assist for his recently signed teammate Lehlohonolo Mojela, who finished clinically to give Babina Noko a lead they would not relinquish.

Despite Highbury’s efforts to find an equaliser, Sekhukhune United remained disciplined and organised, managing the game effectively as it wore on.

Their ability to protect the narrow advantage under pressure proved decisive, ensuring progress to the next round of the competition after a tense but controlled performance.

Army Rocket 0-3 Casric Stars

Casric Stars produced a convincing display to eliminate Army Rocket with a 3-0 win at Olympia Park Stadium on Saturday. The breakthrough arrived in the 28th minute when Thuso Mogale opened the scoring, assisted by Leletu Skelem.

Mogale doubled his tally just six minutes later, completing a brace in the 34th minute to give Casric Stars a commanding 2-0 lead at half-time. Army Rocket struggled to respond after the interval, and Casric Stars maintained control of the contest.

The result was sealed late on, one minute from time, as Ofentse Makwata Kgosana added a third goal in the 89th minute following an assist from Kaizer Chiefs loanee Manqoba Ozoemena. Casric Stars duly progressed to the next phase.
