Nedbank Cup: Last 16, Dates, Venues, and Kick-off Times Confirmed

Nedbank Cup: Quarterfinal draw delivers blockbuster fixtures

The PSL has released the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the Nedbank Cup Round of 16 matches, which will take place later this month, from 12-16 February 2025.

The only outstanding fixture from the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 is the clash between Royal AM and Milford FC which has been postponed due to the PSL’s suspension of Thwihli Thwahla matches.

The draw for the Round of 16 ensures there are no matchups between South Africa’s big three PSL clubs — Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The action kicks off on Wednesday, 12 February 2025, with SuperSport United facing Motsepe Foundation Championship side Cape Town Spurs at Lucas Moripe Stadium at 19:00.

On Thursday, 13 February, Stellenbosch FC will host Polokwane City at Danie Craven Stadium in the Cape Winelands, also at 19:00. The following day, Friday, 14 February, Durban City will take on TS Galaxy at Chatsworth Stadium, again at 19:00.

The Last 16 continues on Saturday, 15 February, with three exciting fixtures. Two games will start at 15:00: Orlando Pirates vs. Baroka FC at Orlando Stadium, and Marumo Gallants vs. AmaZulu FC at Dr. Molemela Stadium. Later that evening, Kaizer Chiefs will host Chippa United at FNB Stadium with that one set to kick off at 18:00.

While Royal AM/Milford vs Sekhukhune United was initially scheduled for Saturday, the match’s future remains uncertain.

The final Last 16 match will take place on Sunday, 16 February, at Loftus Versfeld Stadium at 15:00, where Mamelodi Sundowns will face Mpheni Home Defenders.

Tickets for all fixtures will be available for purchase at Ticketpro outlets nationwide, priced at R40 per ticket.
