Musa Bilankulu: Golden Arrows moving in the right direction

Golden Arrows co-coach Musa Bilankulu expressed his satisfaction following his team’s 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy in the Betway Premiership.

Bilankulu commended his players for their determination and effort throughout the match.

The game saw an exciting start, with Velemseni Ndwandwe putting Golden Arrows ahead early in the first half.

However, TS Galaxy responded almost immediately, as Victor Letsoalo levelled the score with a stunning diving header just three minutes later.

Both sides pushed for a winner in the second half, but resolute defending and missed chances left the scoreline unchanged.

“I must applaud the boys, they fought hard to try and win the game. The chances we created in the first half…  I think if we had scored one or two, we should have won the match,” said Bilankulu.

“The goal we conceded was a lapse of concentration and we will try to work on it. I still believe that the team is growing and we are moving in the right direction.”

Golden Arrows will now prepare for their next challenge as they take on league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday, 2 February.
