You may think the Betway Premiership is already headed to Chloorkop, but mathematically, Orlando Pirates have an outside chance. For instance, if Mamelodi Sundowns drop points tonight, this would send waves of optimism in the Bucs camp, who did themselves a favour on Tuesday with a 2-1 win over Golden Arrows.
Downs sit at the summit of the log with 61 points while Pirates tail them with a tally of 52. The Buccaneers have five games remaining where a total of 15 points is up for grabs.

For Chippa, September will rely heavily on budding midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba, who only played one half against SuperSport United last time out.
Kwayiba is currently the club’s top goalscorer with half-a-dozen goals in the league. In Chippa’s remaining three games, he will be hoping to score a minimum of goals to finish the season in double figures.

However, Downs may be tempted to take the foot off the pedal, only just a bit, given that the league is theirs to lose.
Cardoso could give some of his fringe players a run out as he would want to spare the legs of his regular starters for the Caf Champions League final against Pyramids.
This may be a window of opportunity for September’s side, who are looking to consolidate a top eight finish.
