Magesi FC Transfer News: Magesi FC Boosts Squad with Two New Signings

Magesi FC have officially announced the signing of two players to bolster their squad for the current Betway Premiership season.

Striker Curtley Napier and midfielder Reagan Van der Ross have joined the Limpopo-based club ahead of their challenging league match against champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

New Arrivals

Napier, a 25-year-old forward, arrives from Casric Stars. He brings a wealth of experience from his time with several clubs, including La Masia and African All Stars. Known for his attacking prowess, Napier will be looking to make an immediate impact for Dikwena tša Meetse.

Van der Ross, 26, is a versatile midfielder who previously played for Durban City, formerly known as Maritzburg United. The former Bloemfontein Celtic player last featured professionally during the 2023/24 season. His addition is expected to strengthen the Magesi midfield as they navigate the demanding Betway Premiership.

Current Form and Upcoming Fixture

The new signings come as Magesi looks to secure their first victory of the season. They kicked off their campaign with two hard-fought draws: a goalless match against Polokwane City and a 1-1 draw with Stellenbosch.

Magesi’s next challenge is against league giants Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The match is set to take place at the Seskego Stadium with a kick-off time of 7:30 PM.
