Talk of a title challenge was premature, and they must surely be aiming for a top 4 finish first and foremost.
Anything further and above will be a bonus. This weekend’s visit from Fulham is one they really should be winning if they hope to maintain their European push.
Last season they managed to do the double over Martin Jol and his team of divas, completing a 4-0 victory at Anfield with the utmost of ease.
Fulham have the worst defensive record outside of the bottom three and SAS will be hungry, having gone a whole week without scoring.
