Kaizer Chiefs will look to return to winning ways with a victory away to Golden Arrows in the Betway Premiership on Saturday.
Amakhosi started their campaign with three wins but were held to a goalless draw against Mamelodi Sundowns in their last encounter.
Head coach Nasreddine Nabi had been missing for the opening three games as he attended to a family matter, but was back on the touchline in a hard-fought draw with the Brazilians.
Speaking after the match, he said he felt his side should have claimed all three points against the reigning league champions.
He said on Goal: “It’s true [we could have won] it’s kind of a frustration because we believed that we could’ve got the three points, but there was a good team in front of us.
“We have a little bit of regret about not getting the three points, but we’re going to work and look for the future.
“It’s true that we haven’t lost yet [this season], but we believe that today we could’ve got more, but we are pretty sure that we are on the right direction and going to work more and be better for the next game.”
Arrows will, however, be no pushovers, having lost just once this season in their opening game against Siwelele, but have since managed two wins and a draw, to head into Saturday’s game in fifth place on the league standings, just three adrift of Chiefs.
“Going into the Chiefs game, I don’t think it’s up to me to motivate them [my players], unlike the game against Magesi,” said Mngqithi in the Sowetan.
“Yes, it’s a motivation that we go to the Chiefs game after a win [against Magesi], but I think [for] the match [against Chiefs]…the level of motivation is naturally very high.
“Against Magesi, I had to dig very deep, just to make them [the team] understand the importance of getting the three points, but against Chiefs, the level of motivation [already] is very high.
“The thing we must try to control in them is anxiety, because when the motivation is that high, there’s a very big chance of anxiety, which is an enemy of good technical execution. When you are anxious, you can’t execute the way you want to.”
