Kaizer Chiefs confirm fixture change

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed a change in their Betway Premiership fixture against Royal AM which was originally scheduled to take place on 9 November.

Amakhosi will now battle the KwaZulu-Natal side on Saturday, 30 November with the venue yet to be confirmed as they are using three stadiums for their home games.

Chiefs defeated SuperSport United to move on to the quarterfinals of the Carling Knockout Cup and are set to lock horns with Mamelodi Sundowns on 2 November at FNB Stadium.

Should the Naserredine Nabi-led team overcome Sundowns, they will play their semi-final match on the weekend of 9-10 November as per the Premier Soccer League statement that was released earlier today.

Thwihli Thwahla are currently experiencing all sorts of problems as they are unable to sign new players due to the FIFA ban over the R12 million debt that is owed to Samir Nurkovic.

Their DSTV Diski Challenge team has been expelled from the competition, further actions including points deduction or expulsion are expected to be taken if there is no payment.

Chiefs are set to take on SuperSport on Saturday in a league match, they are sitting seventh on the log with six points having won two games and lost one in their opening three fixtures.
