Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has heaped praise on the club’s board following an impressive unbeaten start to the 2025/26 Betway Premiership and thanked them for the major signings.
Amakhosi have hit the ground running this season, winning four of their opening five league clashes, drawing once whilst not conceding a single goal.
Tunisian mentor Nasreddine Nabi has lauded the Chiefs board for the new signings and transfer strategy during the current transfer window.
“I think I have to say congratulations to the board,” said Nabi following the 1-0 victory against Golden Arrows at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
“I think they did a very big job for us. It is very great that there are some players that have already started to play, and some of them will get a chance to play also.”
The Soweto giants have made ten signings for the 2025/26 season, with only Paseka Mako, Thabiso Monyane, Siphesihle Ndlovu and Flavio Silva having featured from the new recruits this season.
“With the new players we need some time to build our team and to be better, but for now we have to say congratulations to the board for these players,” added the former Young Africans coach.
Chiefs will have the next two weeks (international break) to prepare for their top of the table clash against Eric Tinkler’s in-form Sekhukhune United at FNB Stadium on 16 September.
