Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi admits his side failed to take their chances in the 1-0 Betway Premiership loss to SuperSport United.
Tashreeq Morris scored the only goal at the Peter Mokaba Stadium after 44 minutes.
Amakhosi had 14 shots throughout the tie although just three on target to Matsatsantsa’s eight attempts and one shot that found the back of the net.
Chiefs had beaten SuperSport 4-0 in their Carling Knockout Cup clash last weekend but were second best in this tie.
Speaking after the match, Nabi explained that despite controlling much of the tie, they failed to convert, for their second league loss of the season, after also losing to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Nabi said on iDiski Times: “It’s a game we controlled practically the whole game, unfortunately, we created many opportunities but we couldn’t score and the opponent had only one opportunity and they scored it.
“Our young players need to understand to win a football game you need to put the ball in the net but we believe that it’s a lesson, even if it’s a tough one, we hope we can do better.”
