
Wandile Duba put Chiefs ahead in the 31st minute at Moses Mabhida, before Mfundo Vilakazi sealed the 2-0 win with his strike in the 83rd mintue.
It was a first goal of the season for both players, and an important three points – to move the club up to fourth place on the league standings with 36 points from 20 games – one point behind AmaZulu in third place.
It was also a second win in a row for Amakhosi after a run of three defeats.
Reflecting on the game, Kaze saluted Duba and backed the young player to keep improving.
“A player like Wandile Duba, it’s a player that didn’t get a lot of time playing,” Kaze told SuperSport.

“This [scoring] is gonna give him enough confidence to go forward and as well it’s good thing that there are players that are coming along to this end of the season.
“We are gonna need everyone to finish strong.”
