Kaizer Chiefs aim to move past the Soweto Derby as they face AmaZulu

Kaizer Chiefs will look to recover from their recent Soweto Derby loss as they take on AmaZulu in a Betway Premiership clash on Tuesday.

Chiefs suffered a 1-0 loss to Orlando Pirates on Saturday, marking their third defeat in five league matches.

They have managed only two wins in that period and currently sit 5th in the standings, three points behind 4th-placed Sekhukhune United.

A victory against AmaZulu, combined with a Sekhukhune slip-up against Pirates on Wednesday, could see Amakhosi climb into the top four.

AmaZulu, meanwhile, enter the match with confidence after a 2-1 victory over SuperSport United on Saturday.

They have won two of their last four league matches and sit 9th in the standings, just two points behind Chiefs.

A win would not only see them leapfrog their opponents but also push them into the top eight.

In terms of team news, Amakhosi welcome back Tashreeq Morris from suspension, but they will be without Njabulo Blom, who is serving a ban.

AmaZulu have no suspension concerns but are likely to be without Augustine Mulenga, who remains in injury rehabilitation.
