Injury concern for Orlando Pirates ahead of Chippa United match

Orlando Pirates has expressed concerns over several key players currently sidelined due to injuries, including attacking midfielder Patrick Maswanganyi and goalkeeper Sipho Chaine.

The Buccaneers are set for a trip to the Eastern Cape to battle Chippa United in a Betway Premiership clash at Nelson Mandela Bay.

“Orlando Pirates will be without the services of their talisman Patrick Maswanganyi and goalkeeper Sipho Chaine when the Buccaneers take on Chippa United in a crucial Betway Premiership clash tonight.

Chaine will miss the opportunity to face his former employers because of a one-match suspension.  The former Chilli Boy collected his fourth booking in Pirates’ loss to Gallants over the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Bucs medical team has confirmed with Orlandopiratesfc.com that Tito – who missed out on the clash against Gallants, continues to undergo rehabilitation from an injury he suffered in Bucs’ 2-1 win against Cape Town City last week,” reads a statement from their website.
