"He is a complete soccer player" - TS Galaxy Coach Adnan Beganovic Praises Winger's Move to Orlando Pirates

TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic has expressed his delight at seeing talented winger Kamogelo Sebelebele secure a move to Orlando Pirates.

Beganovic believes the 23-year-old is more than ready for the challenge at a top club, calling him a “complete soccer player.”

Sebelebele has been a product of the TS Galaxy youth academy, consistently impressing since his senior debut in the 2021/22 season.

Last season was particularly strong for the winger, who featured in 29 games, scoring five goals and providing two assists, contributing to the Rockets’ impressive fifth-place finish in the Betway Premiership.

Beganovic feels that a move to a “club like Pirates” was well-deserved and long overdue for the skillful attacker. He voiced his strong backing for Sebelebele’s future success to the Sowetan, stating, “He deserves to sign that contract because he has been with the club [Galaxy] for five years. He is an amazing human being and the next step for him is to join a club like Pirates.”

The coach further elaborated on why he believes Sebelebele will thrive at Orlando Pirates.

“He made a good decision to join Pirates because he can still improve there because there is everything he needs there. And I think he will get game time there because he is a complete soccer player.”

Beganovic also highlighted the fresh start provided by a new coaching setup at Pirates: “There is a new coach there, and when the club believes in you, you will be successful. He has skills and I believe he will be successful.”

Sebelebele’s recent performances have certainly turned heads; his exceptional displays for Bafana Bafana in the recent COSAFA Cup earned him a spot in the tournament’s best XI.

While he was not part of the Pirates squad that recently returned from their pre-season tour of Spain, Sebelebele is expected to link up with his new teammates soon as they prepare for their MTN8 quarter-final clash against Polokwane City next weekend. Kick off at the Orlando Stadium is set for 15h00 on Saturday, 02 August 2025.
