Everton offered so much and gave very little against Man City.
Having won 9 of their last 12 meetings, I thought I had a good bet down.
Then Lukaku opened the scoring and my grin widened. Then, I got kicked in the teeth.
While I may have been asking a lot of them to upset Man City, it’s surely not too much to think they’ll get the better of Hull.
With the imposing Belgian hell-bent on proving that Mourinho has as much eye for talent as an X-factor judge, Everton should ease to victory here.
What does bother me is the fact that Hull are only one place lower on the table – that should count for something.
