This Premier League isn’t quite bad, is it? Yet again, more thrilling moments kept us at the edge of our seats. More last-minute goals, more controversy from VAR, more of the big teams dropping points. It’s all a big mess at the moment and we are loving every bit of it! This weekend sees two of arguably the world’s greatest teams at the moment lock horns as Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield, while at the King Power, there’s another big one between Leicester City and Arsenal.

Friday 8 November
Norwich City 33/20
Draw 51/20
Watford 31/20
(22:00)
The two bottom-placed teams get the new gameweek underway on Friday night as 19th-placed Norwich welcome Watford to Carrow Road. The hosts are enduring a six-game winless run in the Premier League, which has come down to star-striker Teemu Pukki’s fire dying down a bit since his blistering start. Watford are still in search of their first victory of the campaign after going down 2-1 at home to Chelsea last Sunday. Both teams desperately need a win, but who will get it? I’m not quite sure. My money is on a draw here at 51/20.
Saturday 9 November
Chelsea 7/20
Draw 17/4
Crystal Palace 7/1
(14:30)
Chelsea have been the talk of the town and rightfully so. At Watford, the Blues registered their fifth successive league win, which has seen them cement their spot in the top four for at least for the next two weeks. Crystal Palace tend to raise their games for the London derbies, recently earning a 2-2 draw at Arsenal. Palace have also known to be a side much better away from home, and that was further documented after their wins at West Ham and Manchester United. The best bet seems to be a Chelsea Win & Both Teams to Score at a valuable 16/10.
Burnley 27/20
Draw 5/2
West Ham 39/20
(17:00)
Two sides in disarray square off at Turf Moor as both Burnley and West Ham look to get their season back on track this Saturday. The hosts suffered their third consecutive loss at Sheffield United last weekend, going down 3-0. West Ham, on the other hand, suffered their third loss in four games as their home defeat against Newcastle meant that the Hammers are now winless in five matches. Despite their recent slump, the Clarets still have a decent record at home, winning three of their five encounters, losing only to Liverpool and Chelsea. Put your money on Burnley here at 27/20.
Southampton 7/4
Draw 24/10
Everton 31/20
(17:00)
Southampton nearly pulled off one of the shock results of the season, after losing 9-0 at home to Leicester City. The Saints were unlucky not to hold on to their late lead, which saw Manchester City come from behind to win the game 2-1. Everton fought on late despite witnessing the gruesome injury to Andre Gomes, ensuring they scored a stoppage time equalizer to hold Tottenham to a draw at Goodison Park. The Toffees are still winless on the road, while Southampton, well, they’re without a win on home soil. Perhaps the draw is worth looking at here.
Tottenham 6/10
Draw 31/10
Sheffield United 9/2
(17:00)
Its now four games without a win for Tottenham as Mauricio Pochettino’s men remained in the bottom half of the table with their draw at Everton. It doesn’t get any easier for Spurs as they host a fiery Sheffield United side, who just moved into sixth spot after battering Burnley 3-0. The Blades have been fearless all campaign and fancy their chances regardless of the opposition, and that’s been evident in their away form, drawing four and winning one of their five encounters on the road. Tottenham have looked much sharper on home soil and will welcome back Harry Kane after the Englishman missed out on their last league tie due to illness. They will, however, miss the services of Heung-min Son after he picked up a straight red card last weekend. Sheffield have been a powerhouse lately, but with home advantage, Spurs are tipped to inflict the Blades’ first away defeat.
Newcastle United 16/10
Draw 23/10
Bournemouth 7/4
(17:00)
Newcastle United jumped two places after their commanding 3-2 win at West Ham United, claiming their second away win of the season. Coincidentally, both victories came in London. Bournemouth were also on the good end of an impressive victory, condemning Manchester United to a 1-0 defeat at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries have lost just once in their last seven league matches – a 1-0 defeat at Arsenal – so they should fancy their chances of claiming successive wins in the league. Take the Away Win/Draw Double Chance at 9/20.
Leicester City 23/20
Draw 26/10
Arsenal 43/20
(19:30)
When it rains, it pours. After a dire run of results, Arsenal now face a rampant Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Pressure is certainly increasing for Unai Emery as the players seem to have no idea what they’re being told to do, while the fan base is no longer on his side as well. He’s a ticking time bomb at the moment and a heavy defeat against Leicester could force management into sacking him. The Foxes have been remarkable all campaign, sitting in third spot, winning four of their five home games. Arsenal have struggled all season, even more so on the road. The home win here is definitely the way to go – perhaps one to include in all multiples.
Sunday 10 November
Wolves 9/10
Draw 26/10
Aston Villa 31/10
(16:00)
European football has certainly put a dent in Wolves’ season, but Nuno Espirito Santo’s men seem to have adjusted to the congested fixture list and have slowly kept it moving up the table. After their 1-1 draw at Arsenal, Wolves’ unbeaten run in the league stretched to six games. Aston Villa dropped down to 16th in the table with their last-minute defeat against Liverpool, which ended 2-1. Villa were on a decent run before playing Liverpool and Man City, and even beat Wolves in the Carabao Cup, albeit under the lights at Villa Park. This time around, though, with home advantage, Wolves are tipped to come out on top.
Manchester United 6/10
Draw 29/10
Brighton 52/10
(16:00)
The Theatre of Dreams hosts the perfect curtain-raiser before the big one as Liverpool and Manchester City lock horns later on Sunday evening. With Europa League football on Thursday, Manchester United will have to shuffle between two competitions in a couple of days – something which didn’t go according to plan last week as they beat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and lost 1-0 to Bournemouth in the league. Brighton have looked the part in recent weeks, claiming back-to-back wins over Norwich and Everton. The Seagulls certainly have a goal in them. I’ll back Manchester United on the Win/Draw Double Chance & Both Teams to Score at 13/10.
Liverpool 17/10
Draw 51/20
Manchester City 15/10
(18:30)
TREBLE @ 12/1
Chelsea Win & BTTS 16/10
Burnley Win 27/20
Leicester City Win 23/20
