The club officially welcomed two experienced players from Cape Town City, Haashim Domingo and Thabo Nodada. Domingo, a versatile 29-year-old attacker, brings creative quality from his time with Mamelodi Sundowns and Raja CA in Morocco.

He is joined by the 30-year-old midfielder Nodada, a seasoned campaigner with over 200 Premiership appearances.

Durban City also secured the services of Kyle Jurgens, a promising 21-year-old right-back from Stellenbosch FC. Jurgens, a product of Stellenbosch’s development system, has already made 51 senior appearances and adds youth and energy to the defense.

Completing the quartet of signings is the highly-rated Jean Lwamba. The 25-year-old Congolese forward joins from Tafic FC in Botswana, where he was named the Botswana Premier League’s Player of the Season and won the Golden Boot after scoring 15 goals. His arrival provides a significant new attacking option for coach Hunt.

These new players join an already impressive list of signings, including Darren Keet, Brooklyn Poggenpoel, Trevor Mokwena, Liam De Kock, and Frederik Asare.

The club’s chairman, Farook Kadodia, expressed his excitement, stating that the players’ “different qualities and experiences will be valuable as we begin this new chapter.” With a mix of seasoned veterans, promising young talent, and a proven goalscorer, Durban City is clearly building a squad designed to compete at the highest level.
