Furious TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic continued his tense war-of-words with Mamelodi Sundowns counterpart Rulani Mokwena by revealing details of their recent foul-mouthed conversation.
Mokwena had previously revealed that he had been left dissatisfied by recent perceived criticisms by Ramovic and Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos.
The Brazilians tactician revealed that he had personally reached out to both men to share his disappointment.
“I think my biggest problem is that I don’t discuss quite a lot of these things that are said by my colleagues in the media. I don’t go and have engagements with the media about them,” Mokwena said.
“You are all familiar with some of the things that my colleague at TS Galaxy [Sead Ramovic] said. I picked up the phone and called him directly and I raised my displeasure. There were things said by Broos and I picked up the phone and I called him directly and I raised my displeasure.
“What was said in those conversations is not for the public. If they feel they have to disclose that, it is what they feel like, I’m not that type of a person.”
Ramovic has now hit back at Mokwena while revealing details of their f-laden conversation.
“I got a call from him, I picked up the phone and he started to yell and scream, he told me it would be short and he talked for ten minutes,” Ramovic said as quoted by the Citizen.
“He entertained me with a lot of nonsense. He said ‘Who the fuck are you to come to my country and talk to me like this? Do you know who my parents are (Mokwena’s father is Julius KK Sono)? Be careful how you talk, because you are in my fucking country.
“I told him ‘I don’t care who your parents are and then he hung up the phone. I was very disappointed because I think to get treated by a colleague like this, is very small-minded talk.”
