Squad and Technical Team Overhaul
There has been a hive of activity at the Chilli Boys, both on and off the pitch. They have appointed Sinethemba Badela, formerly an assistant coach at Wydad Athletic Club, as their new head coach. He will be supported by assistant Musa Nyatama and new Sporting Director Sinesipho Mali.
These changes are part of a broader squad transformation that has seen a host of new players join the ranks. Mbhele and Dlamini are the latest additions to an impressive list of arrivals, which includes Goodman Mosele, Azola Tshobeni, Sammy Seabi, Elson Ayanda Sithole, Thamsanqa Magwaza, Khanya Mfecane, Thulani Mini, and Abdoulaye S. Mariko, who is on loan from Orlando Pirates.
New Wingers Bring Pace and Flair
According to the club, the acquisition of these two young players is expected to inject new energy into their attack.
Sisanda Mbhele is described as a “rising star with pace and power.” His versatility on both wings will provide Badela with more tactical options, and he is expected to add flair and intensity to the forward line.
Bandile Dlamini, a dynamic left winger, is known for his high-energy, direct style of play. The club believes his arrival will bring “excitement” to the team’s attacking play.
Despite their recent signings, neither Mbhele nor Dlamini featured in Chippa’s recent 1-0 league defeat to Durban City on Wednesday away from home.
