Betway Premiership: Late surge sees AmaZulu salvage point against Siwelele

AmaZulu held Siwelele to a draw at the Dr Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein, leaving the hosts disappointed despite Usuthu finishing with 10 men.

The hosts took the lead on the half hour mark when Vincent Pule found the back of the net, and appeared to be in full control as Nkosikhona Radebe was shown a red card for the visitors.

Usuthu though showed their never say die attitude, first not conceding despite a numerical disadvantage before Mlondi Mbanjwa scored nine minutes from full-time to force a stalemate.

The result leaves Siwelele in 10th place on the log, four points off the top-eight, while Amazulu remain fourth, level on points with third-placed Kaizer Chiefs.
