Betway Prem: AmaZulu Look to Extend Winning Run Against Marumo Gallants

AmaZulu will look to build on their strong recent form as they host Marumo Gallants in a Betway Premiership encounter at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday.

Usuthu are currently enjoying a three-match unbeaten streak in all competitions.

They recently dominated Mighty Eagles 5-1 in the Nedbank Cup, followed by a resounding 5-1 league win over SuperSport United. Their most recent match saw them battle to a 2-2 draw away at Kaizer Chiefs.

AmaZulu occupy ninth spot in the Betway Premiership table, with 20 points to show for their 16 league outings and will be eager to climb higher with another positive result.

Their opponents, Marumo Gallants find themselves in 13th place with 15 points and are coming off a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Richards Bay.

Marumo Gallants, however, can take confidence from their last meeting with AmaZulu, having secured a victory in their previous league encounter in September.

The home side will have a full squad available, with no suspensions affecting their line-up. Gallants, on the other hand, will be without two key players.

Siyabulela Shai remains suspended as he serves the second match of his two-game ban, while Edson Khumalo will also miss out after picking up his fourth yellow card of the season against Richards Bay.
