Appointed: AmaZulu Confirm New Technical Team Additions

AmaZulu Football Club has announced the appointment of two new members to their technical team, following the departure of Pilela Maposa.

Maposa, who had been serving as the club’s analyst, has left Usuthu to join forces with former AmaZulu head coach Benni McCarthy as part of the Kenya national team’s technical setup.

The two had previously worked together at AmaZulu between 2020 and 2022, building a solid working relationship during McCarthy’s tenure as head coach.

In the wake of Maposa’s departure, AmaZulu have confirmed the recruitment of Tshepo Mahao as a new addition to the technical team. Mahao brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked with several clubs in the South African Premier Division.

His career has included stints with TS Galaxy, AS Vita, Royal AM, Polokwane City, and Sekhukhune United, where he gained extensive experience in various tactical and analytical roles.

Additionally, the club has promoted Mini Khoza from his previous role as a youth development tactical analyst to the position of first-team analyst. Khoza, who has been with the club for some time, is highly regarded for his work with AmaZulu’s youth teams and his deep understanding of the club’s tactical needs.

AmaZulu’s Public Relations Officer, Philani Ndlela, confirmed the appointments on FARPost, stating: “Yes, we can confirm Mini Khoza and Tshepo Mahao are now our first team analysts.”

With these changes, AmaZulu are looking to strengthen their technical team as they continue their efforts to improve performance on the pitch and challenge for higher honors in South African football.
