Tshabala will forever be etched into Bafana folklore after scoring the first goal of the 2010 World Cup hosted in South Africa with an absolute scorcher of a long-range strike in a 1-1 draw with Mexico.
The 37-year-old was clubless for the entire duration of last season after being released by AmaZulu in the 2020/2021 season.
"Not yet retired and hopefully, I will still continue playing," Tshabalala told KickOff.
"I am running my foundation successfully so we have a relief program currently which focuses on assisting the KwaZulu-Natal flood victims.
"Then we also have a school shoe initiative where we provide school shoes to kids from disadvantaged backgrounds.
"We have been currently busy with those projects and it is doing well."
