13:11 - Juventus make offer for Barcelona target Koulibaly

Barcelona could reportedly face the prospect of missing out on Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly during the transfer window.

According to Italian publucation La Repubblica, Juventus have lodged an official opening offer for the 31-year-old defender, who has been linked to Barça for some time.

Koulibaly is in the final final year of his Napoli contract and has made no decision about signing a new deal yet.

Napoli club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis wants to make some money out of a deal for Koulibaly during the current transfer window and has priced the Senegalese defender at €40 million.

13:09 - Baroka slim down Championship squad

Baroka have released nine players from their squad as they prepare for a season in the GladAfrica Championship.

Bakgaga were relegated from the DStv Premiership after finishing the 2021/22 campaign in last place.

Club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele said earlier in the wek that a number of players would be let go as they ended six years in the South African top flight following promotion in the 2016/17 campaign.

A Baroka statement read: "Baroka FC can confirm that the following players will not be part of the team for the upcoming season. Vusi Sibiya, Elvis Chipezeze, Lungelo Nguse, Richard Mbulu, Mohau Bowali, Athenkosi Dlala, Augustine Mahlonoko, Nhlanhla Mgaga and Thami Masiya."

12:49 - Comitis rules out imminent Fasika exit

Cape Town City boss John Comitis says he will only listen to serious offers for Nathan Fasika.

The highly-rated 23-year-old centre-back, who joined the Citizens from Congosele side FC Saint-Eloi Lupopo in 2021, has been linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns.

Speaking to KickOff, Comitis said: "Fasika is too good to play in South Africa. He deserves to play in Europe.

"I am not going to listen to any mediocre offers. He is staying with us. He is going to help us in Africa next season as well."

12:47 - Mzava weighing up overseas option

Limbikani Mzava says he is considering a potential move overseas following his release from AmaZulu.

The 28-year-old centre-back was one of a host of players let go by the DStv Premiership club at the end of the 2021/22 season.

He said on KickOff: "I'm weighing up the option of heading overseas because I have that option available having engaged some people at some clubs.

"However, I have to be sure in terms of money about what I'm leaving South Africa for since this is now my home.

"I can't just say I'm going to Europe when the money is not worth it for me.

"The people that I have spoken to were just waiting for me to be free and since my contract is up on June 30 this will then become clearer.

"Maybe next week all will have become clear about where I'm going to play next."

11:41 - Man City sign goalkeeper Stefan Ortega from Arminia Bielefeld

Manchester City have signed Arminia Bielefeld goalkeeper Stefan Ortega on a three-year deal.

The 29-year-old joins the Premier League champions as back-up to Ederson after his deal expired with the recently relegated Bundesliga side.

United States international Zack Steffen was number two last season but is reportedly set to join Middlesbrough on loan.

Ortega is City’s second summer signing following star striker Erling Haaland’s high-profile arrival from Borussia Dortmund.

10:35 - Tottenham announce Richarlison transfer

Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Richarlison from Everton in a transfer worth a potential £60million.

The Toffees will receive an initial £50million with a further £10million payable in add-ons.

Richarlison has scored 48 goals in England's top division and is now a regular with his country, helping them achieve Copa America glory in 2019.

10:15 - Raphinha, Deco and Leeds waiting for Barcelona

Barcelona will have to hurry if they want to sign Brazilian Raphinha. 

According to Fabrizio Romano, Barca made an initial approach for the winger, but received a negative response: the figure was short of Leeds' asking price.

Chelsea have an agreement in place to buy the Brazilian for £60million and that remains the benchmark as the Catalan giants have still not reached that level.

This looks like it is belatedly heading towards some sort of conclusion, but it still isn’t entirely clear what that conclusion will be.

10:02 - Ousmane Dembele is a free agent

June 30th is finally over, and Ousmane Dembele’s contract with Barcelona has clocked up. The Frenchman has officially become a free agent, and is clubless.

Dembele has had an official renewal offer on the table from Barca since December, which he has not chosen to respond to. The terms in that offer amount to nearly €7.5 million in annual wages, plus €3.5 million in bonuses.

According to several reports, Barcelona rescinded that offer this week and instead tabled a ‘lower’ offer that summed to €6 million in wages plus €1.5 million in performance-related add-ons.

These terms are believed to be well below Dembele’s demands of a salary package of €20 million.

09:56 - Chelsea still confident of signing Raheem Sterling this summer

Chelsea remain confident of signing Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling this summer, according to reports. 

Thomas Tuchel is looking to bolster his attack in the summer transfer window and Sterling has been identified as a top target for the Blues. 

Despite no deal being struck yet, as reported by The Telegraph, there ‘remains optimism’ at Stamford Bridge that Sterling will make the switch to the capital. 

Chelsea are claimed to have held fresh talks with the Premier League champions ahead of an anticipated bid. 

09:32 - Kalvin Phillips to Man City at the finish line

Manchester City have all the paperwork ready to strike quick on the Kalvin Phillips deal.

The reported transfer fee for the English midfielder is in the region of £45m to £50m.

Medicals are already scheduled in order to announce the new signing soon. 

Brighton's Marc Cucurella remains the next top target.

08:24 - South African winger Mihlali Mayambela maintaining presence abroad

According to, Cypriot First Division side Aris Limassol have officially confirmed the acquisition of Mihlali Mayambela on a free transfer from Farense.

The 25-year-old has penned a two-year-deal with the club and has already begun training with his new teammates in a camp in Latvia.

08:15 - Man United still interested in free agent Christian Eriksen

Talks are progressing for Christian Eriksen to join Manchester United as a free agent, according to reports.

Erik ten Hag wanted him at Ajax last January, and is pushing to convince him to sign for the Red Devils.

Brentford want to keep Eriksen and Tottenham have distanced themselves from re-signing the 30-year-old midfielder.

A positive in the Bees' corner is that Eriksen loves London.

08:11 - Scamacca to PSG is a possibility

Sassuolo CEO Carnevali speaks to Sky Italia on the Italian striker Gianluca Scamacca: “We had no contact with PSG in the last 10 days for this Scamacca deal."

"Also, I can say that there are no talks with Serie A clubs”.

“We could have contacts with other clubs from abroad for Scamacca, there’s interest”.

The 23-year-old Sassuolo striker has also been linked with a move to Chelsea.

08:08 - Richarlison update

Richarlison has successfully completed his medical as new Tottenham player in Brazil under the watchful eye of a Spurs representative.

The 25-year-old Brazilian forward leaves Everton for a reported £50m + add-ons taking the deal up to £60m with the official announcement soon.

Spurs have also signed Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster this June.

15:47 - Barcelona receive cash injection

Barcelona have announced the sale of 10% of their La Liga television rights to investment firm Sixth Street, which could be worth up to $278 million to the club.

Sixth Street will invest an initial €207.5 million ($216 million) in the Catalans and receive 10% of their La Liga television rights for the next 25 years.

With the transaction, the club said, a total capital gain of €267 million ($278 million) will be generated for the current season.

The deal comes at an important time as Barca are currently in debts of around $1.5 billion and need money to make new signings ahead of the upcoming season, with top targets including Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and Leeds United winger Raphinha.

14:50 - Arsenal's announcement of Gabriel Jesus is imminent

Arsenal have completed the signing of Gabriel Jesus from Man City for a fee believed to be around £45million and all that's left is an official announcement by the North London club.

The Brazil striker has been pictured with an Arsenal jersey on his back and, as expected, appears to have been handed the No.9 shirt.

14:40 - Man City schedule medical for Kalvin Phillips

Manchester City aim to close the signing of Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips by the weekend.

The England international saw City’s offer for him accepted by Leeds last week. However, Phillips’ summer break has delayed negotiations.

The Daily Mail says his medical tests are due to take place tomorrow and provided all goes according to plan his £45m move to the Etihad can be rubber-stamped.

City are set to make Phillips their second summer signing after Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. 

13:30 - Al Ahly find Pitso Mosimane replacement

Al Ahly have officially announced the appointment of Ricardo Soares as first-team head coach.

The Portuguese tactician has signed a contract for a period of two years, and will oversee the remaining matches of the current season. Soares is to succeed Pitso Mosimane, whose departure two weeks ago came as a shock to many.

The Red Devils' new coach makes his move after finishing fifth with Gil Vicente in the Portuguese Primeira last season and qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League.

12:40 - Vitinha is the first signing of the Campos'era at PSG

Vitinha's move to Paris Saint-Germain from Porto on a permanent deal is all but a signature away. 

The €40m transfer fee is coupled with a five-year contract.

The 22-year-old midfielder will be the first signing of the Luis Campos’ era at PSG.

12:34 - West Ham strike a speed bump in the pursuit of Danjuma

West Ham have been in talks with Villarreal on a reported £38.7m fee for Arnaut Danjuma.

The 25-year-old Nigerian winger's personal terms are the real issue in completing a deal.

West Ham want Danjuma, but only on their conditions.

12:22 - PSG want to replace Icardi with Sassuolo's Scamacca

Gianluca Scamacca could be a possible replacement for Mauro Icardi at Paris Saint-Germain.

Talks have opened between the Parisians and his agent Alessandro Lucci.

Sassuolo's asking price is €45m for the 23-year-old Italian national, and PSG have made the first bid to try to secure his signature: offered €30m + bonuses.

12:07 - Mamelodi Sundowns close to signing Moroccan defender

According to highly-respected journalist Mazola Molefe, Mamelodi Sundowns are in advanced talks to sign Moroccan defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil.

The Brazilians had identified the player when he was on loan at Belgian club Royale Union Saint Gilloise alongside Percy Tau in the 2018/19 season, but couldn't agree a deal with his parent club SCC Mohammedia for the transfer to go through at the time.

But Mazola claims that Sundowns are now very close to bringing Boutouil on board as talks with Mohammeedia are now at an advanced stage.

11:30 - Tottenham close in on Clement Lenglet

Apart from Richarlison, Tottenham are also closing in on a loan move for Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet, with a deal expected to be completed in the coming days.

Spurs have been on the lookout for a left-sided centre-back all window and after seeing a move for Inter's Alessandro Bastoni fall through they turned their attention to Lenglet.

Spurs have beaten off competition from both Marseille and Roma to secure his signature, with Lenglet agreeing to the move after being informed that he has no future at Camp Nou.

11:17 - Clayton Daniels joins CT Spurs

Cape Town Spurs have confirmed the signing of Clayton Daniels on a free transfer.

Daniels moves back to the Western Cape to join his boyhood club Cape Town Spurs where then Ajax Cape Town promoted Daniels from the junior ranks to the first-team, before he made his move to Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 37-year-old centre-back joins CT Spurs on a free transfer after recently being released among a number of other names at Maritzburg United.

Daniels made 37 showings across two seasons, scoring one goal for The Team of Choice, while his first stint at "CT Spurs" saw the defender make 92 appearances.

11:11 - Barcelona back in the race to sign Raphinha?

Barcelona are reportedly trying to hijack Chelsea's move for Raphinha.

The Blues have struck a £60million agreement with Elland Road chiefs for the Brazilian, who has been given the green light to discuss personal terms with new owner Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel.

But Raphinha is understood to favour joining Barcelona after already agreeing personal terms with the Catalan giants and they hastily called in his representative Deco for face-to-face talks to discuss the prospect of hijacking Chelsea's move.

Barca remain hampered by financial difficulties off the field but still, they seem set on finding the cash to fund a move for Raphinha.

10:45 - Bayern reject third Barcelona offer for Lewandowski

Bayern Munich have turned down FC Barcelona's third bid for Robert Lewandowski, according to Bild.

Barcelona reportedly offered a guaranteed fee of €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons for the wantaway Polish striker.

However, it would take an offer of at least €50 million to make Bayern consider a sale.

10:33 - 'Williams move would be a mistake'

Former SuperSport United goalkeeper Brendan Wardle has warned Ronwen Williams against a potential move to Mamelodi Sundowns.

Williams is reportedly a target for the DStv Premiership Champions despite the Brazilians possessing a more than healthy goalkeeper department.

The Matsatsantsa and Bafana captain would have to compete with a spot against Denis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene, Reyaad Pieterse, Ricardo Goss and Jody February if he was to make the switch.

Speaking to KickOff, Wardle said: "Are they guaranteeing Ronwen that he is going to be playing week in and week out? I think he is making a bad move.

"It is a bad move for him to be where he is not guaranteed of being number one when he is our Bafana Bafana first choice.

09:31 - Stoke sign winger McCarron from Leeds

Stoke have signed winger Liam McCarron from Leeds for an undisclosed fee.

McCarron was a regular in Leeds' matchday squad under former boss Marcelo Bielsa, but made just one senior appearance for the Premier League club.

Preston-born McCarron, who has represented Scotland at Under-19 level, joined Leeds from Carlisle in 2019 after making 20 first-team appearances for the Cumbrians.

He came off the bench to make his Leeds debut in a 4-1 Premier League defeat to Arsenal at Elland Road in December 2021.

09:29 - Wright signs a new two-year contract to stay with Sunderland

Bailey Wright has signed a new two-year deal at Sunderland which will keep him at the club until summer 2024

The 29-year-old has been on Wearside since January 2020 when he joined on loan from Bristol City before moving on a permanent basis six months later.

The defender has played 91 games for the Black Cats, scoring on four occasions and helped them earn promotion to the Sky Bet Championship after a play-off final win against Wycombe.

After the league campaign, Wright also helped Australia earn their spot in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. 

09:24 - Neymar to leave PSG?

Le Parisien report that Neymar’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain this summer now appears to be a given, with the Brazilian no longer comfortable at the club and the Ligue 1 Champions open to selling him at the right price.

Neymar’s priority is not to leave, although all options remain on the table – including a potential loan deal that would see a club take on all, or at least part of, his €35m wages.

Thiago Silva, who recently called on Neymar to join him at Chelsea, is in contact with his former teammate at PSG to try to convince him to move to London.

09:17 - Frenkie de Jong's move to Manchester United is getting closer

Nicolo Schira reports that Frenkie de Jong's transfer to Manchester United from Barcelona is at the final stage. 

United have offered €70m to the Spanish giants, and have already agreed personal terms with the Dutch midfielder for a five-year contract.

09:10 - Tottenham hopeful of completing transfer deal for Richarlison by Friday

Tottenham are hopeful of completing a deal to sign Everton's Richarlison in the next 24 hours.

Sky Sports reports that an agreement between the two clubs is close.

Richarlison would become Antonio Conte’s fourth signing of the summer.

Spurs have already signed Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster.

09:04 - Romelu Lukaku returns to Inter Milan on loan from Chelsea

Romelu Lukaku has completed his loan move back to Inter Milan from Chelsea, the Premier League club have confirmed.

The Belgium striker will spend the 2022-23 campaign with Inter in Italy, the club he left to re-join Chelsea in a £97.5million deal last year.

The 29-year-old endured an underwhelming 2021-22 season at Stamford Bridge, although he still finished at the Blues' top scorer with 15 goals.

08:33 - Lille appoint Fonseca as new head coach

Lille has formalized the arrival of Paulo Fonseca as head coach.

The Portuguese technician (49), who worked for FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, and AS Roma,  has signed a two-year contract with the French Ligue 1 club.

He went on to make his first statement as head coach saying, “Becoming the new coach of LOSC is a source of pride and a great honor for me."

"I am aware that having been chosen to join this great French club, with its rich history and impressive track record, also gives me a great responsibility.

"I am therefore happy to begin this adventure with LOSC and eager to get to work with the staff and the players."

08:26 - Baccus moves abroad

Keanu Baccus, the sibling of former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kearyn Baccus, has completed a move to Europe.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder joins Scottish Premiership side St. Mirren where he has penned a two-year deal.

However, Keanu is South African born, he was raised in Australia and has represented the Socceroos at various age groups.

08:15 - De Ligt is Tuchel's priority centre-back target

Chelsea are planning to submit a new official bid in trying to sign Matthijs DeLigt from Juventus.

The centre-back is the main target of Tuchel to bolster his defence, while Man City's Nathan Ake is also on the list.

Should the soon-to-be 23-year-old Dutchman make the rumored move for around £70m-£80m, Juve are setting their sights on PSG's Presnel Kimpembe.

08:02 - Guendouzi to Olympique Marseille all but a signature away

To no surprise, a deal between Arsenal and Olympique Marseille for Matteo Guendouzi is done.

The deal has been in place since March, and the 23-year-old French midfielder will be announced as a Marseille player on a permanent deal.

Arsenal will receive around €10m fee for Guendouzi and will now also try to sell Lucas Torreira.

07:57 - Luka Jovic close to loan deal in Serie A

Fiorentina are in the final stages to sign Luka Jovic from Real Madrid.

The deal is in place for a loan worth an estimated €6m net and the salary will be shared between both clubs.

The 23-year-old Serbian striker is expected to arrive in Florence in the next week to undergo medical tests and sign the contract.

16:31 - Lebogang Phiri moves to Paris

Paris FC have confirmed the one-year loan signing of Lebogang Phiri, which includes an option to buy.

The 27-year-old joins from Turkish Super Lig side Rizespor where he made 16 appearances.

16:09 - Gallants make triple signing

Marumo Gallants have unveiled three new signings for the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.

The club introduced the players at their media launch on Wednesday, where new head coach Romain Folz an Chairman Abram Sello were in attendance, along with former Bafana Bafana and Leeds United captain Lucas Radebe.

In a brief statement on social media, Gallants confirmed the capture of defender Makgobola Nkomo, defensive midfielder Koketso More and left wing-back Lesiba Nku.

Nkomo, (26) who can play at both right-back and centre-back, joins from Polokwane City while Nku (26) joins the club after parting ways with Rise and Shine at the end of last season.

14:47 - Renato Sanches in talks to finally get his big move

Paris Saint-Germain Director of Football Luis Campos and soon to be announced new coach Christophe Galtier considers Renato Sanches a priority for the Club. 

Talks with both Lille and Sanches are progressing - new contact already scheduled.

12:53 - Crystal Palace set to sign Cheick Doucoure

RC Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure is scheduled to undergo a medical with the Crystal Palace tomorrow.

An initial bid of a reported £14m was rejected, but the Eagles have upped their offer to meet Lens' valuation, which is thought to be around £18m.

The 22-year-old Malian is Patrick Vieira's top target this summer.

12:30 - Raphinha update

Chelsea are on the verge of signing Leeds United forward Raphina after latest reports claimed that an agreement is one step away. 

This according to SportItalia journalist Gianluigi Longari who reports that the Blues have offered the Brazilian star a five-year contract with a salary of around £115k-125k a week.

It seems to be a deal that is progressing rapidly. As it stands, Raphinha is on course to become the first signing of the Todd Boehly era at Stamford Bridge.

11:16 - Koeman: Frenkie told me he doesn't want to leave Barca

Former Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman says midfielder Frenkie de Jong told him that he wants to stay at Barca.

Manchester United are looking more and more likely to signing the Netherlands international and his compatriot Koeman reveals that he does not want to leave the Catalans.

"A couple of days ago he told me he wanted to continue. What I don't know is if Barca wants to sell him or needs money, because he is one of the few players for whom they can get a good amount," said Koemman.

Man United manager Erik Ten Hag - also a Dutch man - is very keen to collaborate with De Jong once again after the pair went to the semi-finals of the Champions League during De Jong's time at hometown club Ajax Amsterdam with Ten Hag in charge.

11:10 - Angel Di Maria agrees to join Juventus

Angel Di Maria, who is a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, will be joining the Serie A heavyweights in Turin.

The Argentinian will arrive at the Allianz Stadium with an abundance of experience, having played for European heavyweights Real Madrid, Manchester United and PSG.

Di Maria has made 295 appearances for the Parisians, scoring 93 goals and contributing 113 assists. Last season, he managed 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals while creating nine assists.

10:59 - Sekhukhune confirm six new arrivals

Sekhukhune United have announced the signing of six new players for the upcoming DStv Premiership season.

Joining the ambitious club are Denwin Farmer, Abednego Mosiatlhaga, Linda Mntambo, Tshegofatso Mabasa, Elias Mokwana and Tshepo Mokhabi.

Sekhukhune had earlier in the month parted ways with head coach Owen da Gama and replaced him with former SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo.

They also announced the release of 14 players and the transfer of Yusuf Maart to Kaizer Chiefs.

10:31 - Bucs send four players out on loan

Orlando Pirates have confirmed the departure of four players on loan for the duration of the 2022/2023 DStv Premiership season.

Leaving the Buccaneers are striker Tshegofatso Mabasa, who will join Sekhukhune United, while midfielder Nkanyiso Zungu will play for Richards Bay.

Defender Bongani Sam will spend the season with Maritzburg United as DStv Diski Challenge top scorer Boitumelo Radiopane moves to Cape Town Spurs.

10:17 - Everton reject Bergwijn as part of Richarlison offer from Tottenham

Everton have rejected an offer from Tottenham including Steven Bergwijn for Brazilian forward Richarlison, according to reports.

Spurs head coach Antonio Conte has identified Richarlison as one of his top summer targets and the club are negotiating a deal with their Premier League rivals.

The Brazilian played a pivotal role in helping the Merseyside outfit stay afloat in the Premier League last season, scoring 10 goals and creating another five in 30 appearances.

10:09 - Stellenbosch release three players

Stellenbosch have released three players as they streamline their squad ahead of the upcoming DStv Premiership season.

Leaving the Cape-based side are Granwald Scott, Nathan Sinkala and Sibusiso Mthethwa.

Stellies enjoyed a fantastic 2021/22 league campaign as they ended in fourth place behind Mamelodi Sundowns, Cape Town City and Royal AM.

Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers has signed a five-year deal to stay with the Cherries until the summer of 2027.

The 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international established himself as Bournemouth's number one last term as Scott Parker's side won promotion to the Premier League.

Travers started 45 of Bournemouth's 46 league games last season and kept 20 clean sheets to win the Sky Bet Championship's Golden Glove award.

Hull have signed Portuguese defender Tobias Figueiredo following his release by Nottingham Forest.

The 28-year-old centre-half, who made 28 Sky Bet Championship appearances last season as Forest won promotion to the Premier League, has agreed a two-year contract.

Tigers head coach Shota Arveladze told his club's official website: "We've been looking for a good and strong centre-back and we're more than happy to have brought Tobias in.

Luke McNally admitted he "can't wait to start" after joining Burnley on a four-year contract.

The 22-year-old defender arrives at Turf Moor for an undisclosed fee from Oxford, where he spent 18 months with the Sky Bet League One side.

McNally told the club website: "It's unreal to be here, I'm absolutely buzzing and so glad to have got the move done.

"It's all happened so quick really, I just can't wait to start now and I'm really excited."

09:19 - Newcastle agree deal to sign Dutch defender Sven Botman from Lille

Newcastle have confirmed a deal in principle has been agreed to sign Dutch defender Sven Botman from Lille for an undisclosed fee.

Centre-back Botman, 22, has completed his medical on Tyneside and is set to join on a five-year contract in a reported £35million transfer deal.

Newcastle said the club had held off competition "from a host of European sides to secure the highly-rated centre-back", with the formalities of the transfer set to be concluded this week.

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez is reportedly getting concerned about the lack of transfer activities at the club head of the start of pre-season games.

According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Barcelona approached the 35-year-old Suarez after it was confirmed he would be leaving Atletico Madrid, but the Uruguayan was not interested in a Camp Nou return.

The Blaugrana are reportedly also looking at possibly signing Suarez's Uruguayan compatriot, Edinson Cavani, who played at Manchester United last season.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is set to receive £200m to spend in the transfer market this summer, with new owner Todd Boehly reportedly promising six new signings.

Arsenal are set to return with an improved bid for Raphinha after Leeds United rejected their opening bid, according to reports.

The Brazil international has made a huge impact at Leeds over the past two years, netting 17 Premier League goals in 65 appearances. 

Leeds have accepted that Raphinha is unlikely to pen a new contract at the club and are prepared to cash in this summer.

In the last week or so, Arsenal have emerged as a strong contender, with Mikel Arteta seeking the Brazilian to improve his attacking options.

The Senegalese star has penned a three-year contract and will move for a reported fee of up to £35million.

Mane departs Merseyside having made 269 appearances in all competitions since joining from Southampton in 2016, during which he scored 120 goals and registered 48 assists.

Arsenal have completed the signing of talented Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira.

Cape Town City Commercial Director Michel Comitis says the DStv Premiership side are not planning a mass clear-out of players.

The Belgium striker only joined Chelsea in a club-record £98million deal last summer, but a number of controversies strained relations with the Blues.

Chelsea's new co-owner Todd Boehly has put an immediate stamp on his tenure by giving the green light for Lukaku's return to Inter.

US magnate Boehly has backed manager Thomas Tuchel over the decision to let Lukaku return to Italy.

And once the 29-year-old's Inter return is officially complete, the Blues will be able to turn attentions to wider transfer business.
