TTM sign Manyisa after Sundowns exit

Oupa Manyisa and Joseph Molangoane announced as TTM players

Oupa Manyisa has been snapped up by Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila following his release from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 31-year-old former Orlando Pirates midfielder joins the Brazilians in 2017 after over 200 appearances for Bucs.

He played his part in Sundowns' success over the past few seasons but hardly featured this term after undergoing surgery on an Achilles tendon.

Manyisa joins Joseph Molangoane in signing for the new Premier Soccer League club following his release from Kaizer Chiefs.

The 32-year-old Molangoane is a former Platinum Stars, Orlando Pirates and Chippa United midfielder, who also saw his contract come to an end.

Downs boss Pitso Mosimane thanked Manyisa for his service to the club in a message on the club's official website.

He said: "Oupa has been a pleasure to work with. Despite his near-iconic status, he gave 100 percent in training and managed his social life well.

"It's a pity that he didn't play much this year and his Achilles only healed just a month before the lockdown break, and he had played in a few friendlies.

"He is an exceptional player that can play in any position and will be an asset to any team."

TTM owner Lawrence Mulaudzi told KickOff: "They've both signed two-year contracts."
