Mnyamane departs SuperSport

SuperSport United have confirmed the departure of Thabo Mnyamane ahead of the potential resumption of the Premier Soccer League.

The 27-year-old midfielder joined Matsatsantsa from the University of Pretoria in 2016.

He impressed in patches with the three-time PSL winners but saw injuries limit his game-time over all.

SuperSport opted against handing Mnyamane a new short-term deal to see out the season, that remains suspended as a result of the coronavirus.

The Bafana Bafana international played just three games this season for SuperSport, scoring once.

A statement from the club's Twitter account read: "SuperSport United FC would like to confirm the departure of forward Thabo Mnyamane.

"Thabo is a true professional and I really enjoyed working with him. He's a very humble, respectful and talented player.

"It was very unfortunate that injuries hampered his progress at the club.

"We will always cherish the moments and success we have shared together and commend him for the contribution he has done for the club on and off the field."
