Turkish football will resume after being put on hold for three months during lockdown due to COVID-19. There’s eight weeks of league action left to be played and valuable spots in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League up for grabs. Defending champions Galatasaray trail both Trabzonspor and Istanbul Basaksehir by three points as we encounter the last stretch of the title-race. Have a punt on our 5/1 treble.

Istanbul Basaksehir will be hoping that Trabzonspor slip up and they can capitalize. The hosts come into the clash unbeaten in seven league games and haven’t tasted defeat on home soil for 11 straight matches. Demba Ba has scored in five of his last six Super Lig games. Alanyaspor ended a poor run of five winless games with 1-0 win over Gaziantep. The visitors will be counting on their top-scorer, Ba’s ex-strike partner at Newcastle United, Papiss Cisse who has netted 16 goals in 24 appearances. Istanbul Basaksehir should claim maximum points at 17/20.
Yeni Malatyaspor are hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone and will need to finish strong to stay in the division. Former Kaizer Chiefs defender, Teenage Hadebe’s team haven’t kept a clean sheet in 11 league matches and are also winless for the same period. Kasimpasa are just a point ahead of the hosts and will also be aiming for survival. The visitors come into the clash unbeaten in four games but are winless in five matches on their travels. There are usually goals when these teams meet, back Both Teams to Score (Yes) confidently at 11/20.
Slavia Mozyr ended a three-game winless run by dramatically beating strugglers Belshina 3-2 and will be high on confidence. Neman Grodno come into the clash with back-to-back wins after claiming their first away win (2-0) at Gorodeya. When these sides met last season, it was low-scoring affairs. Back Under 2.5 Goals at 13/20.
Besiktas are unbeaten in four league encounters with two wins and two draws against much-fancied Trabzonspor and Galatasaray. Kevin-Prince Boateng and Burak Yilmaz will be expected to get the goals for the Black Eagles. Antalyaspor languish in 11th spot but come into the clash unbeaten in their last eights matches with four wins and four draws. The last four meetings between these sides have seen both teams score and over 2.5 goals scored. My money will be on Over 2.5 Goals at 11/20.
Sunday 14 June
Genclerbirligi talisman Stephane Sessegnon will be aiming to dig his team out of their current predicament of three games without a win. The hosts have only lost once in their last eight matches at the Ankara Ondokuz Mayıs Stadyumu. Konyaspor made themselves hard to beat, earning five draws in seven league matchups. When these sides last met, they had to settle for a share of the spoils. My money is on a repeat of the stalemate at 43/20.
Rizespor are winless in eight league matches, suffering six losses and sit third from bottom in the relegation places. Galatasaray drew back-to-back games that saw them lose four points and the top spot following an impressive five-match winning streak. The Lions will be counting on their striker Radamel Falcao to get them back to winning ways. Take Galatasaray to win at 13/20.
Gaziantep are winless in four games but the newcomers have lost just once in six games at the Gaziantep Stadyumu, including a 1-1 stalemate against Trabzonspor last time at the venue. Ankaragucu ended a three-match losing streak, beating Rizespor 2-1 but still find themselves in hot water at 17th spot. Take Both Teams to Score (Yes) at 13/20.
Monday 15 June
Sivasspor are the favoured team in this clash due to the scoring exploits of Mustapha Yatabare and Arouna Kone who is expected to hit the heights of his fellow striker partner. The hosts have been difficult to beat on home soil, going unbeaten in eight games with three wins and five draws. Denizlispor will look to striker Hugo Rodallega to continue from where he left off and to stretch his sides' three-match unbeaten run. The reverse fixture saw the hosts earn a 2-0 win but this time around my money is on the draw at 31/10.
