Belarusian Premier League GW13 Preview

BATE unexpectedly slipped up in a 2-2 draw at Vitebsk following six straight league victories, allowing champions Dinamo Brest to close the gap on the leaders to seven points. Brest thrashed Minsk 6-1 and moved up to fifth on the table in the process. Shakhter kept their sixth consecutive clean sheet during their 1-0 win over in-form Energetik-BGU, and trail BATE who they face this Sunday in the clash of the weekend, by just two points. Make sure you don’t miss out on our 9/1 treble.

Friday 12 June

Minsk TBA
Draw TBA
Isloch TBA
(17:00)

Minsk coach Andrey Razin likely would have been drilling his troops in defensive situations during training this week after being hit for six last time out. Minsk are languishing at 13th in the standings and if their form doesn’t improve, they could be fighting the relegation battle. Isloch have been struggling since beating lowly Belshina last month, losing three straight games and salvaging a point in the 1-1 draw against Rukh. Both times these sides met last season ended in draws and that’s exactly how I think this contest will play out.

Gorodeya 39/20
Draw 9/4
Slutsk 13/10
(19:00)

Gorodeya come into the clash off the back of a heavy 4-1 defeat at fellow strugglers Smolevichi. The defeat stretched their poor run of form to winless in seven games. Slutsk managed to snatch a valuable point thanks to Artem Serdyuk’s 90th-minute equalizer in their 1-1 draw against Torpedo Zhodino, however, the visitors are also winless in five matches. The Draw at 21/20 in the Half Time market is well worth a punt.

Saturday 13 June

Neman Grodno 17/20
Draw 49/20
Smolevichi 31/10
(15:00)

Neman Grodno will be high on confidence, winning their last three matches and forward Zoran Marusic netting a hat-trick at Slavia Mozyr last weekend. Smolevichi picked up their first win of the campaign last time out but still sit in the relegation zone on seven points after 11 games. Neman Grodno to win is a good bet at 17/20.

Torpedo Zhodino 26/10
Draw 47/20
Dinamo Brest 19/20
(17:00)

Torpedo Zhodino’s poor form on the road continued in the 1-1 draw at Slutsk and will be happy to return to home turf where they have been dominant. Dinamo Brest will be aiming to pick up from where they left off last week and hope BATE drop points in the top of the table clash. A tightly-contested affair is expected. Avoid backing any of the exotic options like Over 2.5 goals however tempting the form may seem. Take Dinamo Brest win at 19/20.

Dinamo Minsk 4/10
Draw 7/2
Slavia Mozyr 6/1
(19:00)

Dinamo Minsk are short-priced after hammering struggling Belshina 4-0. The hosts' home form is identical to the visitors away form (played six: won three and lost three). The last seven meetings between these sides has seen under 2.5 goals scored. That’s exactly what I’ll select: Totals – Under 2.5 Goals at 19/20.

Sunday 14 June

Energetik-BGU 4/10
Draw 34/10
Belshina 57/10
(15:00)

Energetik-BGU struggled to crack Shakhter’s impressive defence and will be eyeing a big win over the relegation-threatened visitors to lift their spirits and get back to winning ways. Belshina are now the only team in the league yet to win a match and have conceded the most goals (27) in 12 games. To add value, back Energetik-BGU on the (-1) Handicap at 21/20.

Rukh 14/10
Draw 2/1
Vitebsk 2/1
(17:00)

Rukh are the draw specialists in the league and notched up their sixth stalemate in 12 games by sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Isloch. Vitebsk are the other draw specialists in the division and come into the clash with five draws on the trot. At 2/1, the draw is the likeliest result.

BATE 11/10
Draw 47/20
Shakhter 9/4
(19:00)

BATE know that if they lose or draw the visitors will leap frog them and take the top spot. The hosts have the best attack which has netted 25 goals in 12 games, but the visitors have the best defence which has conceded just three times in the same period. All five of Shakhter’s away games have seen them produce shut outs, while BATE have only conceded once at the Borisov Arena. Go into the Half Time market and select 'Draw' at 11/10.

TREBLE @ 9/1
Gorodeya vs Slutsk – Half Time: Draw 21/20
Rukh vs Vitebsk – Full Time: Draw 2/1
BATE vs Shakhter – Half Time: Draw 11/10
