Second Test: Australia v England Preview

England will be looking to wrap up their June Series this Saturday with a win against the Australians at AAMI Park.

This series always promised fireworks and we did get the predicted pyrotechnics display out in Brisbane last week. Having been ten points down with little over ten of the game gone, the English put in one of their finest displays ever coming back to win the game by a comfortable margin of 11 points.

Second Test: New Zealand v Wales Preview

We take a look at the second June international between New Zealand and Wales.

Steve Hansen's men square off with Warren Gatland's charges at the Westpac Stadium this Saturday in the second test of their three-match series.

Our rugby scribe takes a look at the third round of the IRB Under 20 Championship.

Has there ever been such an unpredictable Under 20 Championship? Our Golf scribe previews this week's co-sanctioned golf event, the US Open.

The US Open has a history of turning suave, confident golfers into quivering husks of their former selves. This year’s tournament at Oakmont will look to continue that proud tradition. It’s been nine year’s since Oakmont has hosted the US Open and not too much has changed in that time. The rough is still long enough for a Bengal Tiger to lurk within, while putting on these greens is like trying to wrangle a vicious snake - they’re slippery, you’re unsure of how to approach them and if you make a mistake you will be bitten. This is championship golf and only a champion golfer will succeed here.

The Proteas and the West Indies will clash in the Tri-Nation Series in Basseterre on Wednesday evening.

The West Indies’ staggering win over a David Warner-less Australia on Monday evening has piled the pressure on the Proteas. Failure to win could all but ruin their chances of making the final in Bridgetown on 26 June.

d vs Sri Lanka Preview

Sri Lanka and Ireland will go head to head in the first of two ODIs to be played in Dublin this week.

Sri Lanka will play Ireland in two ODIs in a bit of a bizarre two-game series wedged firmly between the Asians’ final Test and first ODI against the English.

Both matches will take place at Malahide in Dublin. The Irish will use the match as a gauge to see how well they compare to a full member nation while the Sri Lankans will use the two matches to prepare for what will be a hotly contested ODI series against the English.
